Ms. Ellen M. Ivey

Ellen Ivey, is the National Health Policy/Advocacy Director at Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems.  In her role, Ellen is the single point liaison for J&J and particularly Janssen Oncology to the national professional and patient non for profit organizations that align with the Janssen Oncology therapeutic portfolio.  In her role, her primary focus is working with her partner organizations in the areas of health policy and access/affordability.    

Ellen began her career in health care as an infectious disease epidemiologist at the Illinois Department of Public Health in the areas of Vaccine Preventable/Communicable diseases.  After 11 years, she transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry and began her pharmaceutical career working for Smith Kline & French in the area of sales.  She transitioned after 2 years to Johnson and Johnson, where she has held various sales/leadership roles and is entering her 25^th year.   

Ellen graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with BS degree in Life Sciences and completed graduate work at the University of Illinois School of Public Health in the area of Epidemiology.
